Project Overview

When Aqueous Diagnostics approached Composion to create their brand identity, the vision was clear: to embody the essence of water—fluid, adaptable, and essential to life. Water not only bridges gaps but also represents movement and transformation, aligning perfectly with Aqueous Diagnostics’ mission to make healthcare diagnostics more accessible.

The Challenge

Healthcare branding often risks appearing clinical or overly technical. The goal was to develop an identity that was approachable yet professional, conveying fluidity, transformation, and accessibility while maintaining a clean and modern aesthetic. The brand identity also required versatility across various applications, from digital platforms to printed materials.

Composion’s Approach

I focused on the concept of water, designing a logo that features a continuous, flowing triangle to symbolize water’s unbroken and dynamic nature. The negative space at the center of the triangle forms a water droplet, reinforcing the brand’s connection to its core element. The triangular shape also subtly hints at the letter ‘A,’ making the design uniquely identifiable.

Beyond the logo, the brand identity extended to a variety of applications, ensuring consistency and versatility. I consulted on the website’s branding and copywriting, guiding the messaging and visuals to align with their mission of accessibility and innovation. Additionally, I designed a PowerPoint template to maintain brand cohesion in their presentations.

From packaging and business cards to social media headers and a brand guidelines document, every element of Aqueous Diagnostics’ branding was crafted with care. The thoughtfully chosen color palette—deep blue for trust, bright blue for modernity, and accents of pink and orange for energy and enthusiasm—creates a vibrant yet professional image, ensuring the brand makes a strong impression in the healthcare industry.
